{"id":1702,"date":"2014-07-25T06:15:59","date_gmt":"2014-07-25T04:15:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/skruzny.ch\/toronto\/?p=1702"},"modified":"2014-07-28T15:16:22","modified_gmt":"2014-07-28T13:16:22","slug":"im-going-crazy-i-did-it","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/skruzny.ch\/toronto\/Archive\/1702","title":{"rendered":"I&#8217;m going crazy &#8211; I did it"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Adrenalin pur &#8230;. total verr\u00fcckt &#8230;. aber jetzt habe ich den\u00a0&#8222;roten M\u00e4nnli&#8220; von unten wochenlang zugeschaut; es war h\u00f6chste Zeit f\u00fcr den <em>edge walk<\/em> auf dem <em>CN Tower<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Der <em>edge walk<\/em> auf dem Fernsehturm\u00a0ist die wohl verr\u00fcckteste Attraktion die\u00a0Toronto zu bieten hat.\u00a0Tja, und ich\u00a0war verr\u00fcckt genug, um daran teilzunehmen, obwohl und ehrlich gesagt, ich hatte &#8222;die Hosen geh\u00f6rig voll&#8220; \ud83d\ude09 .<\/p>\n<p>Beim\u00a0<em>edge walk<\/em>\u00a0umrundet man in 356 schwindel- und angsterregenden H\u00f6henmetern freih\u00e4ndig (ohne Gel\u00e4nder) auf einem 1.5 Meter breiten Gitterrost den CN-Tower und geniesst, wenn man kann, die atemberaubende Aussicht auf die Stadt. Unser F\u00fchrer meinte nur, wenn wir auf einem Trottoir in der Stadt gen\u00fcgend Platz haben, sollte es kein Problem sein die 150 Meter zu laufen, da die Plattform genau gleich breit sei \ud83d\ude2e . Am Anfang habe ich mich gefragt: warum bloss mache ich das nur?! Als ich dann dachte, okay jetzt geht es langsam, war es schon zu Ende. Mit allem drum und dran und den 7&#8217;000 Sicherheitschecks dauerte das Erlebnis rund 1.5 Stunden und obwohl es mir am Schluss des Spazierganges etwas besser ging, glaube ich, dass ich noch Stunden sp\u00e4ter einen Adrenalinspiegel in astronomischer H\u00f6he hatte.<\/p>\n<p>Es klingt schon fast ironisch, aber im 2011 wurde der <em>edge walk<\/em>\u00a0mit dem Guinness-Weltrekord f\u00fcr den weltweit h\u00f6chsten Panoramagang an einem Geb\u00e4ude \u00a0ausgezeichnet.<\/p>\n<p>Auf dem Heimweg traf ich dann noch auf einen &#8222;alten Bekannten&#8220;.
