Schliesslich sind die Toronto Blue Jays die einzige Mannschaft der MLB (Major-League-Baseball) ausserhalb der USA. Sehr praktisch f\u00fcr mich, neben dem <em>Air Canada Centre<\/em>\u00a0und der <em>Roy Thomson Hall<\/em> ist auch das <em>Rogers Centre<\/em>, welches im Jahr 1989 er\u00f6ffnet wurde, mitten im Zentrum der Stadt und ich kann auch dies\u00a0bequem zu Fuss erreichen. Das Stadion ist gr\u00f6sser als ich gedacht habe. Ich bin einmal ums Geb\u00e4ude gelaufen um zu sehen wie gross es ist &#8211; es ist sehr, sehr gross und dann ist auch noch das Renaissance Hotel direkt ans Stadion angebaut.<\/p>\n<p>Das gewaltige Stadion mit seinem vollst\u00e4ndig beweglichen Dach erm\u00f6glicht Veranstaltungen bei jedem Wetter. Das Dach l\u00e4sst sich in sage und schreibe 20 Minuten \u00f6ffnen und schliessen. Diesen Samstag war es etwas unsicher ob es Regen gibt und es war auch etwas k\u00fchl, weshalb das Dach geschlossen blieb. Bei Baseball-Spielen bietet das Centre f\u00fcr rund 52&#8217;000, bei Konzerten f\u00fcr rund 70&#8217;000 Zuschauer Platz.\u00a0Aussen am Geb\u00e4ude sind auf beiden Seiten\u00a0Michael Snows\u00a0Skulptur <em>The Audience<\/em> zu bewundern.<\/p>\n<p>Im Unterschied zum <em>Air Canada Centre<\/em>\u00a0gibt es hier keine Lifte f\u00fcr die oberen Etagen, da muss man sportlich hinaufsteigen \ud83d\ude42 . Daf\u00fcr kann man nachher einen Hot Dog (der eher kalt als warm war) mit allem drum und dran geniessen. Das Bier habe ich wegen dem Bildli gekauft &#8211; schlechter Entscheid. Eigentlich sollte ich es ja wissen, dass man nicht nur auf&#8217;s \u00c4ussere schauen soll.<\/p>\n<p>Obwohl ich wirklich fr\u00fch im Stadion war und \u00fcberall geschaut habe, fand ich keine einzige Cheerleaderin. Sorry, diesmal gibt es keine &#8222;flotten Bildli&#8220; \ud83d\ude41 .<\/p>\n<p>Am Anfang war das Spiel total interessant.\u00a0Alles\u00a0war neu und die Blue Jays sind\u00a0sehr gut gestartet, was viel zur Stimmung beigetragen hat. Der Mittelteil dann zum g\u00e4hnen langweilig und ich dachte schon, dass der Blue Jays Hoody, den ich gekauft habe, das Beste am Spiel ist. In den letzten Runden wurde es aber nochmals spannend, weil die Heimmannschaft\u00a0fast die Wende geschafft hat.
